Position Overview

Green Bay Packaging Inc. is seeking an Applications System Analyst to work at the Corporate Office. This individual will work collaboratively with the Corporate Accounting team as a technical resource, to support and develop Lawson HR, Benefits and Payroll applications.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance existing Lawson HR, Benefits and Payroll applications, as well as assist in converting legacy systems to Lawson.
• Interface with other GBP systems and outside vendors using the Infor Process Automation (IPA / Process Flow) tool.
• Develop and maintain systems following all steps in the systems development life cycle (planning, analysis, design, programming, documentation, implementation, and maintenance).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the applications and the supporting infrastructure.
• Document and communicate in non-technical terms, to train end users on new systems or program modifications.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years equivalent experience
• Ability to self-direct and manage a large amount of responsibility by setting priorities and managing tasks
• Excellent analytical & computer skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Understanding of HR, Benefits and Payroll applications

Knowledge and/or experience in SQL Server Management Studio (including T-SQL and stored procedures) is required.

Knowledge and/or experience in one or more of the following would be a plus:

• Lawson v10 in core HR, Benefits and Payroll modules
• Infor Process Automation (IPA / Process Flow) tool
• Crystal Reports, or other equivalent reporting tools
• JavaScript
• Unix or DOS utilities
