Ok.  I know this is a shot in the dark, but I'm finally pissed off just enought to ask for help. Our users are experiencing extreme slow response times when doing a simple inquiry on MA60.1.  It doesn't matter whether it's in LID or Portal.  A simple inquiry on a vendor with as little as two unmatched items, may take 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 minutes. When our users are logging into Portal, there is a second login screen that displays on the screen in portal, at the top of that screen it says... 'authorizing'. The page it seems to be is sso/modal.htm. We are using version 10 of LSF on windows OS. Users enter their credentials again , but Portal comes back to it. The users never actually get into portal. Does anyone have any ideas on how to trouble-shot a (select) drop down performance problem  A user reported that it is taking 3 1/2 minutes for the select on the PO field to pull a list of open receiving by item on the po30 screen.  It is slow on LID and portal.  I can recreate the issue but for the user it is twice as slow.  I was going to have the dba take a look at perhaps rebuilding the index the select uses (PLISET6).

Lawson 9 on Windows 2008 Server. I have a Lid session open and would like to use grep.  There's no docs for syntax in anything I could find at Inforxtreme, but I was hoping for it to throw me a bone and display a bit more that the one line 'Usage' sytax that's displayed when invoked it with no arguments. hello; we are on an Iseries box and preparing to upgrade to new OS v6r1 My Lawson consultant suggested moving the CSV files out of the db folder since they do NOT belong there anyway, and this can slow the upgrade process down for the apps. 1) Is this true 2) The default file location has been setup for the LA200 to the IFS/Lawson/Db folder since version 6, is there a different location that is more appropriate & is there documentation from Lawson to support it. Hello Experts, We have Lawson 803 talking to Oracle 10204 (on Solaris). I noticed that table statistics are not updated uniformly. Can anyone tell : 1. How the statistics are updated (Only some tables seem to have them updated) 2. Should a job be setup inside Oracle (via dbms_jobs etc)  or we do it in Lawson . Thanks and appreciate your help

Hi Everyone, In our company, we have a dedicated system for CCM apart from our main S3 System. The CCM system never had a problem for the past 3 years or so. The admin who used to support CCM went away 3 years ago. Now we are experiencing error when we try to login. Some people told me that this can be resolved by recycling Web and RMI. We are in the process of planning the migration of Lawson S3 9.0.1.X from an AIX 5.X to an AIX 7.X server.  The server will have a new name and IP address.  I was wondering if anyone has successfully done this or will this require a re-installation due to the name and IP changes .... How can you determine who keyed in an alternate pay rate via HR14.1  We've got a case where someone or several someones are doing it incorrectly.  We'd like to see how and when is doing this but there is no datestamp/timestamp or userid column in the PRRATES table to do this with.  I've tried seeing if there was an OBJ-ID with another table but no dice.  Any suggestions as to how I can provide this information to my payroll management
