Hello all I have a couple of Lawson systems that have been having trouble with lase. I'm looking for a good way to automatically verify lase is up and functioning.   Is there a command line program that does some kind of simple lookup that depends on lase Ideally something (pseudo-code) $ lawshowuser chbrown I could then wrap that in a script and monitor the output. We are on 9.0.1.7, Windows.  Our users were in our DEV system, testing, and then all of a sudden, no one could log in, in Portal.  We get the login screen, but when you enter your credentials, it just sits there blinking at you.  If you enter a bogus login, it recognizes that and gives an error...but a valid one just gets a non-response.  We've looked at every log we can think of but can't find a problem.  If anyone can suggest anything to look at, or any ideas at all, I'd appreciate it.  We...

If the user go to PR297 and click on job scheduler then go to related forms at the upper right and select the multi-step job definition. This is where user select the form to enter parameters. User has to exit out of the form each step for each of the 8 steps they create. User says should be able to select job scheduler from the step from without going back and forth from CER1001 and other various PR jobs. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks Lynda

I'm not a SysAdmin but thought I'd post this here to see if anyone has any clues.  After we upgraded to 9.0.1.8 this summer frequently (every few days to a week) our ProcessFlow interfaces that use the IBM WebSphere Transformation Extender fail in the TXAdapter node because the RMI server is down.  My SysAdmin added a nightly CRON job that stops and restarts it and now the PF failures are less often, about every two weeks, but they still occur.  Does anyone have any ideas why this happens

When we run a particular query from our MOA install on Citrix, we notice that there are some missing records returned. Just for grins, I tried running the MOA query from a local install.  This returned all records that qualified.  (*There were 5 records returned on the local install that just never were for the Citrix install.) We are windows and I think that this could  have to do with permissions. I was told to clean out the logs, I'd remove several logs while lawson was stopped and then when it was restarted, they did recreate ..It has not been written to since that date 9/25 with the exception of 10/14 when we did a reboot...so it is only being written to upon a reboot. I was told that we are required to move to windows 2K8 in 2012 to be supported by Lawson and Microsoft.... (we are running 2K3 R2) However, Microsoft apparently is still supporting our version of the O.S... Anyone have thoughts or information to share Thanks Shane

I've used the IBM launchpad to install the websphere plugins for IIS. Through the launchpad, it appears I've successfully installed a new webserver with the plugins. However in the console, the web server does not appear. I have stopped and restarted everything and still the web server does not appear in the console. I can see that the webserver appears in the folder directory with the plugins, but it's just not appearing in the console. This is windows 2003, IIS6, with Websphere 7....

Our hardware dept. was messing with DNS settings and now the environment won't start.  I get OpenDBFile2 error is Unable to communicate with database driver process (99).   Additional information is 1167. I know it's a database communication issue but when I got to start the listener I get:  lsnrctl:  File cannot be found In $ORACLE_HOME/bin, lsnrctl is not present like it is on our other app server.
