Has anyone got a script or process to delete/remove users  from RM in LSF 9.0 I know it may be a stretch and I've got a process to mass add users. YEs I know there is no command to mass remove users. We have installed lsf 9.0.1.8 on an AIX server.  Our ldap is AD LDS on Windows server 2008.  We are still in testing but I have to stop and start lase or sometimes everything just about everyday and sometimes more than once a day.  I even tested moving my ldap to ADAM on a 2003 server, and pointing my environment to that ldap, and it seemed fine.  In prod we are use ADAM on a 2003 server on lsf 9.0.0.8 and don't have any issues.  Has anyone else experienced anything like this  I am wondering if...

Hello, We are having an issue where our LDAP is unable to authenticate users with AD.  This is causing MSCM print files to go into error status, Process Flows are failing on AGS calls, and all users are having sporadic issues accessing the portal. What types of testing have others done when moving from MKS to LUU We have HR/Payroll, GL/AP, Process Flow and EMSS. Would full system testing by all functional users be required including end of monthand end of year programs Any advice is appreciated!

We have an old version of Lawson and have had turnover in personnel who knew the 'behind the scenes' kind of information. I can do LAWUSERADD in my production environment, but not in my test. In test I get 'This tool is restricted by administrative policy to authorized users only.'  I am trying to figure out what words to use to what person to get the right authority in the test enviroment. We are currently in the planning stages to move to 9.0.1.5.  We have many different applications that need to still all work and the bane of my existence right now is to make Java play nice between all the apps.  So, I've got a list of the applications, and the 'recommended' JRE for it.  However, the new Lawson KB and I aren't getting along. We have a recurring job consisting of multiple PO100s.  This runs daily without problems.  Today, step 14 aborted with file status 9 065 on file po100er1.  I have tried recovering the job multiple times, to no avail.  Opened a case with Lawson but response is slow.  Any ideas

Hi, We are testing LUU with 9.0.1.5 apps, 9.0.1.7 env, on Server 2003 R2 64-bit. Overall, it is working pretty well. No trouble so far with canned applications (HR/payroll & financials), TnE, or employee self-service. Has anyone successfully installed BSI 9.0 on the application server yet They've now added licensing to the mix. Each desktop that uses the BSI client must now have a user license installed on their PC's before they can use the client software. The license can be generated from the BSI website once you provide the hostname of the PC, and some processes information. We are being told by our info sec group that we need to upggrade WAS on our Lawson Application server and the LBI server to a newer fixpack than 7.0.0.9.  We picked 7.0.0.13 after talking  with the Lawson consultant that helped build our system.  We've upgraded dev without issues but our users are concerned with the amount of testing this upgrade may require. I am looking to understand the general function of dbmode. We've recently have had turnover of our system admin person, and don't have anyone who has this general knowledge. When you want to change to single user mode and put it to a user other than yourself, do you have to do su to that user first (Which means that have to have authority to the su command.)  Or is there another way Joanne

We have already installed RQC on our QA environment server - but now need to revert back to RSS temporarily.  Is it necessary to uninstall RQC  The RSS ear is still available and running on the server.  I am hoping that we can just reload the old RSS bookmark file and uninstall a few CTPs that were applied with RQC.  Does anyone have experience with this  Thanks.

We are on env 9.0.0.8. At times we notice that the system response becomes poor. 1) Any link under Employee Self Service link takes unreasonably long to present data (example pay checks). 2) Launching a screen in LID also takes longer than usual. What does one look for in such cases We noticed that during such times 'db2sysc' (related to Tivoli) process shows very high cpu utilization. I would appreciate if someone throws light on this process and also any other area to look at. Thanks.

To test the enviroment/application upgrade process from 9.0.1.3 to 9.0.1.5 I would like to take a copy of our lawson server(windows 2003) and place it on a virtual server(with a new name) and perform upgrade test on it What i am wondering is how to ensure i get the IP's changed and what/how this will affect the Websphere, will any registry settings need to be changed.  I know very little about websphere and want to ensure that is correct.   thanks for the help.

We just migrated from Unix to Windows (2008 R2 on VM) and was wondering how often do you reboot you servers.  Do you do it on a regular schedule or when things get slow  Coming from Unix, we rarely had to reboot, a lawson restart was all that was needed to keep it humming along.

We've copied our production product line over to our test server using dbcopy.  We have a custom system code that we use for payroll.  All of the programs (including the custom programs) copied over just fine, but the table files were not copied over to dbdef.  The custom system code itself exists in dbdef, but there are no files attached to it.  We restored the test db for this productline from a backup of production, so all of the tables themselves do exist in the database.  Is there a quick w...

After the upgrade, we discovered the LDAP did not migrate.  I have recovered the LDAP manually and it is now running and the configuration looks good.  But the Lawson subsystems will still not come up. The LASE job is saying Security Environment is not running.  Anyone upgraded the OS yet  We are on Lawson v9.0.1.4
