I have some very disjointed documentation on our WebSphere 7.0 install and was hoping I could get some clarification from those more experienced. One of the biggest problems I've run into is that the registry keys that are supposed to be created after the Plug-ins install are not there when I go to verify. Is this a permissions issue with 2008 R2 and can I just add the values manually

I just installed the latest environment patch onto my nonproduction LSF901ESP6, AIX 5.3 machine and encountered issues. The patch number is LSFCT_AIX5_09000106P5294. After installing it, the sso/ssoservlet smoke test worked but ssoconfig/ssocfginfoservlet failed with status 500. I have opened a case with Lawson and will update this thread when I know more.

We are going to be using a new provisioning package for new employees. The package is called Courion. Does anyone have experience with it This package will generate new AD and email, then update certain key systems such as Lawson. My understanding is that it will write directly to our ADAM LDAP server, bypassing the normal Lawson Security (loadusers) procedure we currently use. So I was able to get full consensus to do my 9.0.1 upgrade with a fresh start...this time as a true in-place upgrade (instead of building a new system as originally planned). I still plan to ultimately migrate to a new system with Win2k8 64, Sql2k8, WAS7, etc, but this will give me much more time to do the build at a much slower (safer) pace, and possibly get consulting time in on next year's budget as needed.. I've recently done an upgrade of our Vertex software and database files from version 2 to version 3.3. We are required to do this upgrade before the end of the year. The database files are still in the version 3.1 format. When I tried to use TX40 after the migration of the database files, I got the following error message: 'Quantum Err: Open failed.' We run LSF 9 with oracle 10.1 on HPUX. The entire oracle binaries/database is in one filesystem which is mirrored between two sans at different locations. Ever since we upgraded to ENV 9.0.1.5 we have been having trouble with CLOSE_WAIT threads backing up and killing our application server. We have a remote install of 2 HTTPServers, 2 AppServers Vertically scaled. They are WAS 7.0 FP 7. It seems like once a week someone calls with issues of portal locking up. On LSF 9005, application 9006, NetExpress 4.0. Some patches for the application fail because of new *.scr commands like KEYSELECT and DTLFORM0.
