I have recently installed another WAS instance on our UNIX box to support an additional environment. I seem to have a port issue now, because when I bring up the admin console for WAS INSTANCE 1 I see what exactly I am supposed to (correct application server / applications /etc). When I bring up WAS INSTANCE 2 ADMIN CONSOLE, I see application servers / applications for WAS INSTANCE 2. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Need some assistance here, We're running Windows with a 9.0.0.x environment. I've installed another 9.0.1.5 environment on the same physical server as the 9.0.0.x environment. The UID of the 'lawson' user is different on the new environment versus the old environment. I need to setup SSO for an LBI 9.0.4.1 install with LSF 9.0.1.5. I see that now we have to create a direct IOS service to do this. The documents state that the Websphere service needs to run as a named user. Has anyone done this before I have 3 total services one for the Node Agent one for the Cell manager and one for the application server. Do I need to set this account for all 3 When I try this the services start and then stop. I am running Websphere 7.0.0.9. on Windows 2008 sp2.

We are looking to install an additional environment onto an existing server. I was just wondering if anyone can share their experiences concerning this. Hello, We have a Processflow that basically performs an approval on items ordered from our clinical system. The flow works fine, but occasionally the work unit has an error and it doesn't process. We are on 9.0.1.5 win 2008 64 bit. GSC advised that we should be scheduling regular reboots. I think it has to do with memory leaks or not a good 'clean up' process Before our latest upgrade...we did see an issue with job submit error every 20 or so days if we had not rebooted. I am currently installing LSF 9.0, using ADAM as LDAP container. After I have entered all information in the 'Configuring Resource Management' screen, it complains with the error 'dn expected' and returns me to the DN of LDAP administator text box. We're migrating Lawson from HP Integrity 11.23 to HP Integrity 11iv3. This also means that we must use WebSphere 7.0, Tivoli 6.2, DB2 9.5, and Server Express 5.1. Currently we're running Tivoli 6.0, so my main question is...Is there an easy way to get everything out of Tivoli 6.0 and into a fresh Tivoli 6.2 install Can we simply backup the current DB2 database in TDS 6.0, and reload it into the DB2 database for TDS 6.2 TIA, Jeff

Can someone tell me the steps for setting up HTTPS on Websphere I believe I have ssoconfig setup properly but I am still struggling to get this to work on my environment. I am applying a CTP and noticed at the bottom there is a special note section that says I need to verify that other CTPs (and PTs!) have been applied. We are on PARISC and going to itanium HP Unix Servers. So we have an old server with 900 and a new server with 901. I'm stuck with the DPP(Data promotion programs). They expect everything on the same server and I can't do that because of the hardware upgrade. How do we run the upgrade tools Will the 8.1 to 9.0.1 upgrade programs work Or should I have access to 900 to 901 upgrade tools instead of promotion tools on the Lawson website

I need to change the DB that one of our test productlines points to. Both productlines are the same version and on the same env version but are on different servers, i.e.Lawtest and Lawprod. I know I need to change the MICROSOFT file to point to the new DB. Is that the only place I need to make a change Thanks!
