I am looking for a script which send a copy of XXXXX.prt [HR511.prt] from print manager to specific folder   I defined a printer name 'lawarcprt' by prtdef Assigned a scirpt to copy cp > LAWDIR\dev\work\Temp\   From print manager, I selected 'lawarcprt' to print. It is not working. All I get error and syntex for cp command. Does any one succeeded in Windows Enviroment If So please send me some notes. I really very much appreciate it.

I just completed an environment install on a new production server.  Environment 9.0.1.5 running on Windows Server 2008 and IBM WebSphere 7.0 with fix pack 7.  I've deployed the ear files to WebSphere and restarted the server.  I am unable to complete any of the Lawson Security smoke tests.  My browser does not respond to any requests on port 80.  I followed the instructions of KB article 557092, but my SSO logs do not report any errors (just normal start-up and shut-down entries). We are an iSeries (V5R4) shop and use Tivoli Directory Services 5.2  ... which is no longer a supported product. So, we must upgrade to the latest Tivoli product. We are not iSeries techies, per se (our datacenter is outsourced) and we have no on-site technical support to speak of. We recently upgraded our applications to 9.01 and created a new LPAR to run apps and MSCM. During our upgrade at Go-live the MSCM data was not validated prior to users beginning to work. We have one days transactions that were completed before the issue was caught. We backed up the days work and can access the signatures, counts, etc via odbc connection but want to merge the signatures back into the current production. Has anyone had luck doing such a project

We are upgrading using win 2008 and to 9.0.1 enviro & apps, but the testers have experienced major slowness. We've upgraded a few to IE7 and the problem is solved. In lieu of upgrading everyone to IE7 is there hope that our system would be tweaked to work with IE6 w/o being so slow

Is it necessary to run other module purges if you run the GL300  Our GLTRANS table is getting large enough where IT is asking about the possibility of purging/archiving it, but no mention has been made of purging/archiving any other module.  Anyone care to share experiences not purging/archiving all modules at once, or about carving out information without uing Lawson-based programs   Thank you, Forum.

We are being told by GSC that people who use paint screens in 9.0.1 need to be able to run IOSCacheRefresh by themselves.  Since this utility is (if I understand things correctly) only available to those that are designated with PortalAdmin=Yes. I use HP's UPD and noticed that the users would get an error [Bad File Status 9065 On File PRINT-FILE] when running a job for second time.  Lawson's KB 5200220 was the key. To fix it I updated the UPD to v5.0.3 and it seems to have resolved the print handle not releasing the file. We just did a skip upgrade from 7.2 to 9.0.0.4 on our Iseries.  The users are saying that jobs are running much longer.  I have done the various steps for tuning that Lawson recommends but the users still are experiencing delays.  Small jobs that used to take 2 minutes now take 8 minutes.  Does anyone have any ideas on what to try

Greetings, We are attempting to install TDS 6.2 (previous version is 6.0).  The install completes okay but when we attemtp to login to the Security Admin after the fact we get the error:   Administrator is Not Authorized - Access Denied.   I can login to JExplorer and review all the security data and it looks to be okay so it is not a problem with the user not having access to the ADM profile.  Any ideas why this is occuring. We have moved servers and for some reason Pflow is pointing to the old server. We have changed all the config files in servers.pl and RD00, WF00, logan.env and still when try to start pflow it says can't start because already running on the other server host name. Any Ideas

Do any of you have tricks to deciphering the weekly email patch notifications These things are horribly bad. We have just encountered a problem that we've never experienced before.  We make a change to a program, compile it, the change works.  Same programmer makes another change, and compiles, and though the.gnt file appears to have been updated, the program change is not effective.  That programmer can compile it 20 times, and it will not make a difference.  A different programmer can compile it, and then the new code does show up.  But then for further changes, another programmer must do the compile...
