We have a old Lawson installation and when we need to add the next marking period from 123109 to 13110, in the Company setup - Fiscal Year it shows 2010 but message says Value not in list : 1910:2009 Any help where this list is stored and how to change it. Thanks. Tejas

We are looking at upgrading from 9.0.0.4 to 9.0.0.8 and wondering if anyone has done this yet. If so did you have any issues. We also would like to upgrade websphere and sql server 2008 at the sametime as 9.0.0.8 now supports SQL Server 2008 and IE 8.

We have developed a methodology to update the LDAP Req Service Center identity thru a unix script. using ldapmodify.   We can see that LDAP has been updated, however, it takes 15 minutes for the change to show up via the Portal RSS signon.   We have tried IOSCACHEREFRESH, we stopped and restarted LASE, we refreshed SERVER CACHE using LAWSON SECURITY ADMINISTRATOR and still could not 'force' an earlier refresh, Our server CACHE parameter is set to 300 (30 seconds).   Does anyone know of a w...

I've got to modify the schema (MS ADAM) and I'm logged in as 'lawson' user in LID. I've got the schema and LDAP already created, and I used Schema administrator tool to make the changes I need. Now I'm ready to import. I've got the LDAP administrator DN ok and I can log in to the LDAP using Jxplorer, etc. This is WIndows OS, LSF 9.0.0.5 When I run the ldifde command I'm getting the error Insufficient Rights which tells me I need to have Schema Adminstrator rights on the ldap. Is anyone running IE8 for production Lawson users We had the IE8 update slip onto a few systems and are debating wether to roll back to IE7 or not. All I could find on the Lawson Support site was the announcement on 4/16/09 stating that IE8 is not yet supported. I'm wondering how other admins handle the install.cfg file. Can I blank out the passwords in the file, or are they required to be there for future patches, sp's, etc Do you lock down the rights on the file move it out of the directory into a secured location until needed or am I paranoid, and I don't really need to worry about the passwords stored in the file -Brian

I've noticed that in many if not all Lawson programs there is a call at the beginning to a utility called InitBatch.  It look like it grabs runtime parameters like username, productline, etc.  Does anyone know where the information is stored that InitBatch accesses  Secondly, is there a way I can access it and possibly even update it if I wanted to. Thank you very much for your help!

I'm installing Lawson Core 9.06 on HP UX with Tivoli Directory server. I'm having problems with the installation where I seem to be able to create the GEN database but fails doing a dbreorg.  I am a newbie to Lawson where I have a Oracle 10.2 database  another server.I'm getting a error when doing a dbreorg gen (Security violation). We have installed e-punchout app and tried to configure to work with Grainger and IBM vendor sites. Both sent us their certificates and asked to install the certificates on our end. We did that. When click on Punchout Vendor icon link, it threw out error as: 'com.ibm.jsse2.util.h: No trusted certificate found'. Anyone had such experience Your help is greatly appreciated.
