I suppose those CSV files can then be loaded to another database for use with reporting tools such as Crystal Reports. We are currently Unix and looking to move to windows. We are 8.03 env and application, moving in Nov to 9.0LSF env only. Has anyone moved from unix to windows and if so can you explain to me the differences you found and the improvements of running on windows .

LSF9.0.0.2 on HP-UX with 803 apps. Every so often the users will get the 'user needs to be assigned a security class', and when we try to log into LAUA w/ root, we get 'unable to get security context'. The only thing that solves it is a stop/restart of lawson. Any ideas Thanks in advance, Nicole

We are in a 9.0 Windows 2003 sp1 EVT and have the following versions of java and Websphere. Websphere 6.0.2.1 I see a patch available but realy don't see a requirement for 6.0.2.17 Java 1.4.2_11 meets DST requirements but latest version is 1.4.2_13 We also have LBI installed and Business Objects has patches but reluctant to apply non recommended Lawson updates. We had LDAP working fine in our 8.0.3 production environment (AIX) for several months, and then started getting intermittent 503 errors (Server temporarily unavailable). If you try again, there is no error. This can happen when logging in or when accessing a screen. Lawson looked at it and recommended some performance changes. We implemented them all except for moving to ESP6. Our log shows that LDAP has either “timed out” or is “waiting for time out”. We are getting these even with little...

I am just getting back into Lawson after being absent for about three years. I am working on version 8x on a iSeries and we would like to refresh our test environment. In the past we simply took a backup of our LAWDBxF library and restored it to LAWDBFxT. Is this still true with version 8x of Lawson Thanks!
