Have a custom system code with programs defined. Trying to copy that entire system code to another server. No new elements involved. I have two environments running on same AIX server and with Oracle databases on the same server. Still 9.0.1 version. However, one environment's response is slow, another one is normal. Has anyone have a LID command to automatically add a new user to a user group, using usergrpdef. I have the user, group (existing), but I want to run it in a command, and not have to run usergrpdef manually and the subscreens to add the user to the group, etc. Thanks in advance. We are a V7R1 iSeries shop still on Version 9 of Lawson.  We have two test instances and production. A couple of weeks ago, our SysAdmin team installed PTFs on both of our test instances without incident...afterwards everything worked fine. We are creating a historical archive of our one of our production servers that is running LSF9 on Windows.  We've successfully created a VM clone and now want to remove LASE.  Since it is a historical archive, we only want to use LAUA security and access the system via LID (since access will be limited).  The IBM WebSphere services are off/removed.  What would be the next steps for removing LASE

As a part of new DA creation I ran the dbcreate and it's failing with 'Security Violation' Error.    I do have new DB created on SQL server and created the MICROSOFT file.    I do see that blddbdict created the '' file in DB folder.  I do see the new DA in security and was able to grant access to Lawson.    Please advise,

Hi, We upgrade from V9 to V10 in May 2016 and use Avaaps Security Dashboard.  After the upgrade some of the Sec Dashboard reports were failing and it turned out to be the LSaudit tracking was missing from that release.  Infor have since added this tracking back in to the app but we are finding that not all ISS user updates are writting to the LSAudit table.  Based on advise from support we recently applied a DSP 944 update and LSF CT to bring us to LSF  10.0.7.1332 whic...

We are testing Open Enrollment for our upgrade to Windows 2012 servers.  We are also upgrading the applications.  In testing Open Enrollment freezes when it gets to the page that displays the current benefit selection.  This only happens when using IE11 on a 64bit PC.  It works fine when using IE11 on a 32 bit PC and works fine in Chrome or Firefox.  Has anyone else run into this problem and if so did you find a solution  We have been working on this issue with Inf...

We have done ldapbind's using the ldap protocol, but one client would like to implement it with ldaps protocol. Looking at the command structure, it appears the -W, -P, and -U options come into play, but I'm not sure how to set those up. I have a client with a few custom 4 G/L programs.  A recent requirement to add a footer to the reports works well everywhere but for one program.  It acts as if the $STDFTR is not defined.  This is defined in an identical way which works well on several other custom programs.  Any ideas on why this would fail
