Batch Mode

    could someone run through the process of doing env. patches in batch mode.

    right now I have downloaded all patches (in zip format)...unzipped the very latest patch adn started the jajav install..

    is it supposed to upzip the other files ?

    is the installer supposed to ask if others need installed ?

      To do a group at once you can run it in non-gui mode using a different command line.

      As you describe, just unarchive the last patch in the group, then run the java command. That woud be something like:
      java –jar XXX.jar –c –d

      It should then start a dialog in character mode. I should ask if you want to unzip the others, and for other parameters to determine which other files are needed.

      This also avoids the need for a X server.
