Congrats on posting!
We are on AIX with WAS. 9.01.8 apps  esp10.

We didin't experience this issue when we removed the file from our test system and the super-users do not get the error in production.

When all else fails (as it did) Lawson says to put the noparamval file back.

That then allows users to add jobs with missing parameters only to end up on the waiting tab so we would like to have it removed.

What is the real root cause of this error?  Jobs affected were IC234, PR180 and AP150, and they were recompiled with no success.

Are the "super users" using LID or Portal? If it's LID, and you're getting this error only by users who are submitting jobs in Portal, then you need to look at the environment variables on the Websphere app server.

Well, something must be different between the super-users and non-super users? LAUA or LS?

We have a cluster of three servers for production and server#2 has three varialbles different from the other two servers. Will get that changed and recycle and see where we are at.
