Ok,  Its been a while since I used Lawson 10. I am not at a company who is going to 10 from 9, and use LAUA security for many users still, and some LS.

In 10, when I turn on Lawson security in the LS application, I can go to LID as the Lawson admin login and do a lawsec status and I get a security violation.

if I turn off Lawson security in the LS application, I can then go to LID and do lawsec status and it says "Lawson security is on"

How is this so? I show it as off in the application. But when I turn it on, I can see the status in LID.

Why does LID say on when its turned of in LS app? If I try to do a lawsec off in LID, I get cannot disable security.

I am confused on how the LID lawsec and LS app security  on / off radio button tie together.

What am I missing here? I need a refresher.

lawsec in LID shows the status of LAUA security as well as ability to turn LAUA security ON/OFF.

In Lawson 10, all users are on LS security, to turn ON/OFF LS security:

1 ) Do in in LSA > Server Management > Server > Security Checking

      OR

      2 ) lsconfig -c ON|OFF
