I apologize if this isn't the forum for this question:  We are having issues with our printers losing connection and not printing from PO30 and WH130 sporadically.  We have them set up on a print server. It is not always the same printer, it used to be after a reboot they would lose connection so we created a powershell script to add printers to print server automatically.  this has not resolved the issue and randomly through-out the day a printer will stop printing.

I was hoping someone could share how you are setting up printers or if you have suggestions on my issue,

    thank you

    Brenda

I'm not IT but we had issues on our docks due to the printers not having a set IP. They have since given the Lawson printers a set IP and network address and that solved our issue.

+1 for direct IP addresses and skipping the print servers.
Thanks for using the LawsonGuru.com forums!

That's why contact printer is the best option... I am the owner of Brother printer. Of course, the Brothers printer is the best choice! But last year I solved this problem in a different way. I just decided to buy a wireless printer of the latest generation and put all my money into this purchase. My colleague suggested that I visit this mrdepot site, which offers quality office products at a reasonable price. On this site you can find a lot of printers and cartridges from well-known and reliable brands. I immediately ordered one and I'm happy with it. If you are interested, you can view this service mrdepot.ca

Printers and Server should always have dedicated IP Addresses, either hard coded or DNS alias. That you can always find them.
