I am trying to install a new environment for Lawson 9.0.1 and have run into an issue where the LDAP user validation test fails during the install. I setup an AD LDS partition for Lawason and created a used in the LDAP partition and put the user in the administration group in the partition created for Lawson. I believe I must be missing some security on the schema that is causing this error. Has anyone setup a new environment on 2008 using AD LDS? If so what steps did you go through to get the security correctly setup for Lawson? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1) use ADSI edit to connect to your Schema 2) open up properties of CN=Organization 3) in Attribute Editor, highlight "possSuperiors" and click edit 4) type in "container" in "value to add" box and click add, click ok, click apply then ok in attribute editor 5) reboot and you should be set on the ldap part.

the account you are using to change schema does not have administrative right. Log in with account iwth the right to change schema.
