Field level unconditional rules not working

    I was testing my security set up at my client. I find that I cannot get my field level rules to work on any form. For example, If I want to deny access to Pay rate in HR11.1 or inquiry only access to Vendor Name in AP10.1, the unconditional rule does not work on their server. However, exactly the same rule works in another environment. Has anyone encountered similar issue. Is this a technology patch issue or am I missing something?

      Check your HR09/HR10 field security settings for the user. They will override the security you set up in LS Security.

        @Roger, thanks for your suggestion. I had thought that the initial HR11.1 issue was to do with HR09/HR10 settings. But I am having similar issue (unconditional rule at field level not working) even with AP10.1

          Are any rules working? Is security turned on in the productline?
          Try to copy your rule/class from the environment that is working to the environment that isn't working.

            I would suggest you run some security reports to validate some other rules on a different security class are not overriding your unconditional rules and go from there.
