We just went live on LSF9 using LAUA and 803 apps.  I'm interested in recommendations on when to implement Lawson Security.  I was ready to start discussions on Lawson Security and looking for Lawson consulting help on the planning phase when my lead developer said everything she is hearing from our Lawson Project Manager indicates that it is best to wait until we are fully migrated to 9.0 applications before we even begin looking at Lawson Security.

What are the pros/cons in waiting until we are on 9.0 apps before beginning Lawson Security implementation?

We are UNIX and have FN/HR/MM modules, ESS and RSS implemented, LBI, and Process Flow Professional, with Tivoli bind.

I don't think that waiting is your best bet...I believe documaentation says to allow at least 6 months to form your security...LSF 9.0 allows you to do so much and its best if you take the time now to get planned out before you implement it...I would take it one module at a time...(HR can be pretty complex, at least it was for us...)making the decisions to supress SS#'s or any other information is not just a simple click...there are different levels of security...

I do want to move forward. I'm trying to understand why Lawson Consultants would recommend that we wait until we are migrated to 90 apps before we even start thinking/planning for security.
