LBI 9.0.2 on Windows 2003 Env: Unix, with Oracle DB In reporting services dashboard, when there is a *scheduled* report, the viewer logs into Reporting Services initially. Then the viewer must log in again with Oracle credientials to actually view the *scheduled* report. Is this the way it's supposed to work Having to log in twice to view a scheduled report(Sorry I did not set up this instance of Reporting services). For regular, published reports, the user only need to log in one time. -R

How do you create a link in a Crystal Report that is published on a dashboard to link to the Lawson Portal  I have a report that contains PO information and I want to create a link so when the user clicks on the PO number it takes them to the PO20.1 form with the PO number from the report auto populated in the PO20.1 form. Has anyone here upgraded from LBI 9.05 to 10 I called Infor Support and was told that it would take 1-2 hours, maybe even less. And that it would just be an install on top of the existing one. Is it really that easy What should I look out for We are only upgrading LBI to 10. None of the other Lawson apps would be upgraded. Is that possible recommended Thanks!

In LBI version 10, we are noticing that the dashboards background is a deep blue/navy blue and the selected dashboard text is black. Anyone know which specific file this is controlled from We'd like to change the selected dashboard color.

Hello! I've created a report in Crystal 2008 which displays perfectly when exported to Excel. However, when this same report is uploaded to LBI, and then opened in .xls format, cells are being merged. Is there a setting so that i can have it output exactly as it is doing in Crystal Thanks, Chris

I have a strange LBI report porblem. I can open the report with 'View with Data Refresh'. However when open the report 'View Lastest Instance' it prompts for username and password. I republished the report, it still has the same issue. However, when I publish the report as a new LBI report, no problem when 'View Latest Instance'. Any help greatly appreciated.

When ever I click to expand the users to see the jobs it waits for a minute or 2 and then says it can not load. Is this some security issue Another user can expand it just fine.

I was looking to get some help regarding scheduling in LBI. We have about 60-70 reports that we are scheduling at different times each month and was hoping there is a way where these can be scheduled all at once instead of going in to each report one at a time and changing their run times individually.

OK, So I've just now realized that there is a selection called 'Non-RPT' File when you go to upload a report in Reporting Services. I looked in the Infor KB to see if something would give me a hint as to when you would want to do this. Seems that you can upload a word doc or excel file (). Hi Have had issues when the created and saved crystal report which is exported using LBI on a timed session to a user sent by email Every time one is sent - it seems to merge some cells and include blanks on rows and columns periodically Any ideas on how to remove this issue would be good I have tried not suppress & ensure there are no gaps between fields etc Thanks

Reporting Services offers 4 types of 'Report Events'. These are defined in the UG as a 'user exit that allows for a specific user-defined report task to be performed at a predetermined time.' The one example given is that of a logging program which tracks the amount of time it takes for the report to run. I'm missing something right in front of my eyes. Setting up SSL for Lawson environment and have SSL for Lawson application server working fine. But can only get http://lbi/efs/go to work - not https://lbi/efs. SSL has been set up on the LBI sever and installed in WAS. But https just not working. And http still is - logs in just fine. BIggest issue is that lbi is integrated into portal roles as the home page and getting the popup to accept unsecured data with lawson being setup correctly. ...

Trying to set up some reports to run as 'scheduled' every other week so setting them up in windows task scheduler to submit the URL and create a new instance, I have that working fine, including the login, but the report has parameters - and when I try to pass the parameters in the URL it still brings up the window and asks for them to be filled in. I have a CU201 job in lawson. It is running and building instances (under C:\LawsonDocuments\147_CU201\Instances) of the back office report on the LBI server but when I try to view the latest instance it gives an error. Message: C:\LawsonDocuments\147_CU201\CU201.lxr (The system cannot find the file specified.) I can go in a view historical instances. Ok...So I am setting up our Lawson dashboards for our Lawson 10 we are going to implement. We are coming from 9. Is there a way to set individual portal roles to have a certain dashboard tab show up as the main home tab that opens when they log in I have two created for our regular employees, but the additional tab is the one that is defaulting when they open up lawson.
