I have crystal reports in the LBI. When the report is run it goes to the crystal viewer. when you select print it gives the option to export to pdf file. when export is chosen i get DOWNLOAD ACTIVE X prompt from the web. it then requires the user, after it is installed, to re run the report. how can this be fixed change permissions

I have written several Oracle stored procedures for our production and test Lawson DB. When I connect via ODBC within Crystal, I see the Stored Procedure in production, but I can not see the ones in Test. Any ideas why I am not able to see them in test

In Version 904 any LBi roles defined at the dashboard levels is cascading down to the modules and indiviual links on the modules when any new role is added to the dashboards and saved. We have different levels of security set up for different modules and even links on the module. As an example if we have the HR dashboard, we may have all of the roles defined but we have modules where we have compensation, termination and not everybody on the HR dashboard should have access to these modules...

Is it possible to have report parameters that are selected by the report user to limit the output for the dispplayed report from a historical instance. For instance, if we have a termination report for the entire company that is scheduled to run every Monday, is possible to add a parameter (e.g department) that the user would be prompted for the further filter/select data from the historical instance If so, how would this be accomplished

Can I create a query that will pull data based on a date calculation I want to pull monthly purchase order information but only for 1 year back from the current date. So I can schedule the report to run at the end of each month and not have to change the date range every time. Something like - 365.

I need to setup SSO for an LBI 9.0.4.1 install with LSF 9.0.1.5. I see that now we have to create a direct IOS service to do this. The documents state that the Websphere service needs to run as a named user. Has anyone done this before I have 3 total service one for the Node Agent one for the Cell manager and one for the application server. Do I need to set this account for all 3 When I try this the services start and then stop. I am running Websphere 7.0.0.9.

I have a client implementing ML and I've written a few dozen GL reports for them. It appears I'd simply replace the GL Tables with ML tables for MLAmounts and MLTrans. We did an LBI upgrade, amking copies of the LawsonFS, LawsonRS and LawsonSN SQL Server databases, installed LBI 90110154 which matched our current production LBI version, then upgraded to 9.0.3.2. i have a report which i added to the lbi. i can run the report when i log in as the admin, no problem. when i log in as a specific group i get this error message You do not have access to view the latest instance of this report. the sharing on the report is set up to view all and i even added the group to the view users. do you think it may be a permission thing on the backend package
