I have created a crystal report for actual vs. budget using an union command with the FBDETAIL and GLAMOUNTS tables.  I am able to calculate the quarter totals for both actual and budgets by Accounting Unit.  The quarter totals are listed on the same line.  I want to combine all of the quarters into one amount column by quarter with seperate columns for the actual and budget so I can create a graph by quarter showing both actual and budget. Any suggestions on how to do this

Has anyone run LBI Dasboards from SmartOffice

I wanted to see if it's possible to pass parameters from a lawson screen into an LBI report Users would like the PO Print report integrated into the PO20 screen in Lawson.   I was thinking that I could write a script with Design Studio and get the PO Number, Revision, etc off the screen and pass them into the LBI report, and open the report in a seperate window.   Does anyone know if this is possible  I'm not that familiar with LBI but have done something similar with Oracle reports.

We have some users who have access to LBI but not to Portal, so we have several Portal reports that we read into Crystal and output in LBI, usually in Excel format.  One report that I am trying to do this with is the Payment Voucher Interface Error Report (YP520).  This report has two logical sections to is, depending on the types of errors encountered.  The report populates 0, 1, or both sections, depending on the errors encountered, if any. I am fairly new to scorecard. I have a Employee Turnover data cube that I produce views for Managers. I have a request to combine several AU's turnover and get a total. These AU's don't have any other combination (manager, au heirarchy, etc) that I can use the select all to get a grand total. Basically  I am trying to combine these AU's turnover on 1 view in scorecard and get a grand total.  It seems like this is an easy fix just need some direction.   Thank you

Is there any way to have a dynamic Report Filter on a scheduled report, i.e. such that the scheduled report runs for a large dataset, but the user is prompted to supply an additional record filter parameter It looks like the schedule requires a value to be supplied for the record filter, as well as the Crystal parameters. I'm trying to avoid having to create more complex bursting rights for some of our scheduled reports/or publish a million different iterations of the same report.  Thx!

Due to limitations with the LBI scheduler we're looking for an alternative. We need the ability to run a given Crystal report with multiple parameters and publish pdf output to a static location. It could either be one large reprt that is bursted or multiple invocations as long as the end result has each report going to it's desired location on disk. We have one dashboard that is being shared by 2 different responsible parties. They would like all of their reports on the same dashboard but want to visually differentaite one module from another with the use of different module colors. All: I have been tasked with creating a report containing the LBI report number, LBI Report name, LBI report owner, LBI report schedule, and LBI Report Users. We upgraded just recently on one of our test system from LBI 9031 to 904 and found that framework services did not keep the permissions for each of the dashboards and modules after the upgrade. Has anybody run into this issue What was your solution

Say, does anyone have any (recent) experience uploading/importing devices to LBI reporting services  The reason I ask, is that I'm trying to conform my csv file to what we initially uploaded years ago, and it won't import. Have the file specs now changed  We are on LBI v 9.0.3.2.116 and originally when the files I have were successfully uploaded we were on maybe v 8.0.1 Lawson's documentation leaves a little to be desired in this subject. We are in the process of completing our LBI dev server with the intent of allowing a small group of power designers to build reports, SN, Dashboards in DEV. If you have rolled this out to a group like this, other than a standard promotion process, what are the big gotcha's that you can share.

We're currently using LBI for Lawson report distribution only (e-broadcasting replacement).  We did not buy enterprise reporting or any Crystal from Lawson. I have non-Lawson needs for Crystal server.  I'd like to install it in a way that LBI still knows it's there and can publish an rpt.  This is an effort to provide one reporting portal (use LBI) for Lawson and non-Lawson reports. Crystal 2008 and Oracle Stored Procedures performance. I am benchmarking a report that uses the native Oracle driver and an Oracle stored procedure with a ref_cursor on a Crystal 2008 report. The performance is horrible when compared to using a SQL command directly in the report. Anyone have experience with this Is there a way to use a bulk collect rather than the ref_cursor to improve performance

Hi, I'm having problem with my scheduling. Have no instance on server whatsoever. My crystal report contains subreports. In crystal designer, I can preview the report including both main report and subreport content. I can also view the latest instance or with data refresh after report published.But when I create a schedule with parameter value assigned and bursting option structure defined. Can the drop menu on the top right hand corner that enables users to 'Refresh' or 'Log Out 'UserID'' be changed Is it possible to remove the 'Log Out' function from this menu I don't know why, but when a user attempts to log out from there, nothing happens.
