I am new at being an app. admin for LBI. Currently, we have our timeout set at 30 mins, but my concern is that information can be left on the screen and doesn't actually go back to the log in screen after the timeout. What needs to be done to have LBI timeout and send the screen back to the log in screen so no information is left on the screen

Does anyone have the proper joins in Crystal for linking the APVENMAST and the APHOLDCODE  I have attempted multiple scenarios and nothing seems to be working.  Thank you.

When I attempt to log in the server using OLE DB to create a report, I get and ADO error: 0x80072ee7 Does anybody know how to work around this issue

Has anybody been able to create the PA100 report straight from the Lawson tables. Our HR dept runs the PA100 everyday to update personnel actions. The PR dept needs this report but in a different format and sorted not by employee but in a different way. We have two reports that are currently set up as a main report (listing employees) and a subreport (a form with detailed information for a specific employee) that is linked on the EMPLOYEE.EMPLOYEE field.  The issue is that while the main report needs to be in Landscape, the subreport form needs to be Portrait.  Apparently Crystal can't handle having the two reports in different orientations. Our LBI server has windows 2003 as the os. We are looking to upgrade from LBI 903 to LBI 904. At the same time we are looking to upgrade to windows 2008 from windows 2003. Has anybody have this configuration. Any experiences you can share

Can anyone tell me what 'set to null' on the parameter screen is or does We run Crystal reports from Lawson's dashboard and this 'appears' to serve no purpose and is distracting but I haven't been able to find it any of our books or in my research. I'm trying to set up an InfoSet to drive a SmartNote, but the query I'm starting with is based on a SQL 2000 stored procedure (in McKesson MM, actually) that uses a slew of temp tables and IF/logic - and all of that is confusing the InfoSet wizard. When I try and auto-create the InfoSet, I get this error: ADMINUI1010: ... The statement did not return a result set The query runs fine in Toad or Query Analyzer; so obviously rows *are* coming back... just not in a way that the InfoSet Wiz...

Can you go back and update an instance for the period that an adjustment was made in.    Our users had to go back to june and july periods and make adjustments.  Now they want  the June instance and the July instance to reflect the changes in the Crystal reports.  These reports are created  from the tables  through  Crystal and we scheduled them to run when the period is closed on LBI.    These reports are not  OnDemand.

Hello, I am working with a client who we recently migrated and also upgraded from lsf8 to lsf9.  They are running Enterprise CMC version 11.5.10.1263 connecting via OLE DB version 9.0.4.  We are getting lots of cases stating that some of their bigger reports have come to a crawl since upgrading to lsf9.  These reports are running 10-12 hours in some cases and timing out.  They tried increasing 'Connect Timeout' just to see if it will finish, but no luck.  I noticed in the DME call the reports...

I'm trying to open an LBI Crystal Report by launching a URL within Design Studio. I thought I understood how to pass the parameters within this URL but I can't get it to work. Greetings,   Basics:  Using OLE DB and accessing Lawson tables for a Crystal Report.  Windows, Lawson 9, CR2008 SP2.  From within CR I open the database expert, add command, alias the tables I need, pick the fields...then go on to the next table.  Total joins=4 on 5 tables, all left outer joins with ACTRANS as the 'master'. We are upgrading our lawson system on a new lpar.  I need to update all of my reports, smartnotes and links to the new lpar/database. Does anyone have any tips or tricks on the easiest way to accomplish this task

Issue:I need to produce a BL Invoice from Crystal Reports (CR) AND include BL comments to help explain the reason for the invoice to our customers. Using the OLE DB connector within Crystal Reports (CR) 2008, I can pull up the table info with a DME Query, and separately, I can pull up one associated BL Invoice attachment with a getattachrec Query, but I can't seem to put the two together on one report.  Anyone done this before BL recurring invoice comments are stored in (BL30.1 -> BL32....
