I created a report in development and published LBI Data Settings of a user and password we set up for all development reports. The report is in Crystal XI using a SQL Server stored procedure as the data source. This office is used to using tables as the data source. When I publish to LBI Dev the Data Settings are fine. When they publish in production, there is no user or password in the Data Settings area. How do I fix this

Hi, I would like to have row level security in Crystal for Lawson data in HR/PR/BN modules. What Row level security means in this context is the user has access to the data entered by him and few other users. Has anyone handled this before in Crystal Reports. Hello, I am a Lawson query user. When I set values for indexes, I cannot 'skip' a line in the index set. For example, I want to list all open invoices so I go to AROITEMS and use AROSET13 with my company code, process level and for a specific transaction type (invoices). However, I want to do it for all customers, I don't want to choose a customer number. If I leave customer blank, it will not filter for process level and transaction type. We have to do an audit on our Lawson Users.  I have an ldap export in an ldif file.  I then imported that in excel and wanted to create a crystal report against it.  My problem is the lawson security fields for Groups and roles.  They are multivalued fields/ arrays.  I want to be able to list the user and then in one column extract the list of  the users groups and in another column list their roles. Trying to see if LBI (9.0.1.9) is compatible/certified with SQL2005. The install manuals only say SQL 2000. Just wanted to make sure of any gotchas if using SQL 2005 with LSF9.

Hello I am running CRX and we use Control M to schedule reports.  According to the company's website, you can create a .EXE and run it on the Windows Command prompt. Does anyone have information related to Lawson's on-going support plan for Essbase We are in the midst of upgrading to Lawson 9.0 and Essbase 7.1. as well as evaluating our company's overall BI strategy. Our IT staff has heard rumors to the effect that Lawson's Essbase strategy is to offer support for one more version of Essbase then discontinue their support in favor of LBI.  If so, has an announcement been made concerning the date Essbase support would be discontinued
