Trying to burst a PDF to the LBI Dashboard. The PDF report has both COMPANY AND ACCT UNIT as bursting elements, but I don't get the drop down box to assign COMPANY OR ACCT UNIT for Element for field mapping. Can a PDF file be burst through LBI Thanks, Whitney

We have several reports that are needing to be bursted by a field on the report and we are on version 10 of LBI but we are experiencing that bursting is not working right and wanted to check with anybody out there what their experiences have been Thanks in advance.

Since we are now on version 10 of LBI, I've been asked by several users to turn report auditing on. I've successfully done that and written an audit report with some of the information that the users wanted in it. My question comes in here. I turned auditing on at 17:00 on the 13th, now at 10:30 on the 15th, I already have 340 rows in the table. Can I just have my DBA strip the table of older data from the table going forward Maybe just keep a quarters worth, and strip the rest

We are having our systems moved and I want LBI to be available longer than lawson. We usually log into lbi via a link in the lawson portal but I do have the direct url for lbi. I am being told they are not sure if LBI can be up without the portal We don't want to allow users to log into the portal because we don't want any data changed. Our LBI is strictly reports only. I am publishing an EE roster of 6000 people. I need the Manager running the report to only view employees they have access to. I concatenated a few fields where the IDs are to make the field i want touse to check the manager . i already tried the formula below: CurrentCEUsername in {Manager String} in lbi and crystal but it did not pull the data. We were upgraded to LBI Version10.1.12.0.179 and I have not been able to import devices since then. I am using the same device template as we did before. I checked the device type naming (from an earlier post by Greg Moeller) and still can't upload. My error is: - An error occured when attempting to save the device to the database. - The device import has completed with errors. Some devices might not have been imported. Nothing imported. Hi, I have a Crystal Report that contains a sub report. This report is loaded in LBI. When I choose to export the report as CSV, first, it takes like an hour (annoying), second, it creates a duplicate or triple (or more) records for each record on the report. Why are the repeated records occuring on the report We have other reports that are exported this way that also have sub reports. Any insight would be much appreiated! Thanks! Tania Hummelgard

On PO20.1 there is a button labeled 'Add Cmt'. Clicking it brings up an Attachments window, and under 'Comments to Print on Purchase Orders' I need to find both the Title and Text fields. My usual methods of tracking this down don't seem to work for this one. Thanks in advance for any direction you can provide.

Just getting started with bursting. We have a report that should generally be available to all, but handful of users (all in their own custom group) should only see one work location. Playing with a simple test report, I created the element, structure, and right to restrict that group. What I can't figure out is how to allow another group full access. The only thing that jumps out is to give them a right that is NOT= 'qwzyxs' or some other string that I know is not a real work location....

I have a Crystal report that's bursting properly now; most users see all info, one group sees a reduced set.
