    Hi,

I'm having problem with my scheduling. Have no instance on server whatsoever.

My crystal report contains subreports. In crystal designer, I can preview the report including both main report and subreport content. I can also view the latest instance or with data refresh after report published. But when I create a schedule with parameter value assigned and bursting option structure defined. There isn't any instance bursted on my server.

Did I missing anything when schedule? Any ideas?

    Thanks a lot,

    Ada

Have you checked your log files to see if there were any errors?

I would check the LBI logs to see if you have any messages that you can research.

I have never had much success in scheduling reports that have subreports. They seem to take too long to run. The ones I have with subreports, I have set to run with data refresh when the users click on the link from the dashboard.

If you include the subreport in the detail section of the report, for every record processed in the detail section the subreport will also be processed. So if you have 100 records in the detail section the subreport will be executed 100 times.

It is a good practice to include the subreport at the footer section of the report unless you absolutely have to. This reduces the time it teakes for the report to refresh.
