Hello - I have a Crystal Report with ICTRANS.FROM_TO_LOC & I need to add the name of the location to the report. Sometimes this is a par location & sometimes it is a requesting location.

It is working with our par locations that have IC81 headers using ICLOCATION, but I'm losing the requesting locations since those are in RQ01/REQLOC. Any suggestions?

My knee jerk reaction is to add our req locs to IC81 as a header only but I believe these will create ghost IC02's which may cause an entirely different headache if requesters try to use req locs as ship to locs on their reqs & PO's. And I hate the idea of going against normal practice in Lawson just to make a report work.

Any help would be appreciated. I've been working on this on & off for a very long time :) Thanks.

The names for all of your Requesting Locations, including the Par Locations, are in the RQLOC table. Link ICTRANS.FROM_TO_LOC to RQLOC.REQ_LOCATION.

Thank you so much! As usual I was overthinking it

Hope you don't mind another question - In another post I asked about joining MMDIST & GLNAMES to have descriptions for cost centers. I get the right number of records but descriptions only appear for 1 company. Any suggestions? The post is in this forum from 5/6/2016 if you'd prefer to reply there.
