I need to create a report based on the GL293 Income Statement that is based on AC Activities rather GL Accounting Units.  The GL293 subtotals Accounts by Income Statement groups/classes (i.e. Gross Sales, Net Sales, COGS, Gross Profit, etc.).  Can anyone help me with what table has Income Statement Account subtotal types for this report?  THANKS!!!!!!

Those codes are coming from the GLCHARTSUM table.

If you need the same information for activities you can go to ACACTIVITY(This is for all activities summary or posting)  and ACACCTCAT(this is for account categories again both summary and posting).

          Gary:
Normally your I/S and B/S reports come from GLAmounts which is a summary table and it does sum by Fiscal Year, Company, Acct Unit, Account etc... The problem is that it does not sum by activity - you'll have to go to GLTrans and do the sum yourself - it won't be the best performance. You'll likely want to us a command so you can get the group by on the database or depending on the size of the company, it could be ugly. I have a few clients who I've done this for and another who called me last week because his systems people wanted him to use Activities instead sub accounts and luckily I was able to point out this reporting issue before they did and he went another direction.
