Has anyone moved to Infor BI for Lawson? Version 10.5 or 10.6? I am trying to determine what the migration process is for this. I know we need to fill out an order form to switch from LBI to IBI. I have tried to get additional information from our Account Exec, but not had much luck with the information I am looking for. I see that LBI 10.4 is end of maintenance on 2/28/17. What was the process like for conversion? Did you need to have consulting, or was the conversion fairly seamless. Is the new dashboard tool similar to the current one, or was there a significant amount of learning.
TIA

We are still on LBI but have looked into IBI. They are two different animals. One is not a upgrade for the other. From what I understand you can actually run them concurrently. I don't think IBI supports back office reports and I cannot remember if Crystal was supported.
IBI does offer a whole host of additional tools. You really need to talk to an expert before making the jump, don't just get the salesman's version of the story.

Infor BI for Lawson -- at least the version that we're on (10.6.0.0.157), is really just an upgrade to what you currently have. I think that it does become a completely different animal with Infor BI version 11.x though... and I'm a little hesitant to move to that version- simply because we've had LBI basically since it's inception.. and it hasn't really changed all that much.
I would echo dcaiani's response- make sure that you talk to an expert before making the jump.
