The Crystal Reports that I published into LBI were working fine then all of a sudden stopped working and started asking for credentials. Then they still won't run. I have other Crystal Reports that run fine (coming from a different database, not infor/Lawson). AND all of my smart notifications are working fine.

Find the report file on the server and open it in Crystal Report Designer. I would bet its probably Saved With Data (under the File menu). This is typical behavior when a report is published that has this option checked.
If any of my answers were helpful an endorsement on LinkedIn would be much appriciated! www.linkedin.com/pub/matthew-nye/1a/886/760/

I had the same issue when we upgraded to LBI 10 because our data source overrides failed. I can't find a place for data source overrides in 10 and we changed each report individually so I don't have additional information where the overrides might be located. We corrected the situation by opening the reports in Crystal and setting the data source location rather than using an override.

OK, so here is what I did... I reconfigured the datasource on the report server to use an administrator's login and password. Then I took the login and password off from the datasource in LBI (do not use an override datasource), and said to use the current user's login information for the report. The reports all failed again. Changed the login information back to the administrator's login in the report datasource information and said to "Use the above user and password" and it all worked fine. Not sure the impact this will have when I want to start bursting reports.

Donna, I'm curious about your data overrides failing in version 10. We are just starting with 10, but LBI seems to be very similar to v9. Our version 10 LBI server shows "Reporting Services (201405) 10-4-6-0-245 Tue 04-07-2015 11.38.07 CDT" When I click "[Details]" for one of my reports, I get the usual pop up Report Details window with Data Settings link as the second item in the Report Options menu at the top left. The Override Datasource is in that section. Is the Data Settings link missing for you, or is the Override Datasource missing from the Data Settings section?

Hi Mike, I can see it at the report level too but I could not find it under reporting services data sources. We abandoned the override data sources because they were not functioning reliably prior to the upgrade so I have not pursued any further analysis. It is possible that they were not set up correctly at the time of the LBI installation but I did not install LBI and am not familiar with the actual LBI installation process.
