I'm trying to configure my smart notes so that an e-mail is only sent in case the infoset actually contains any data. However, I do not have much luck in this endeavor and I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

I've configured an infoset, selecting all failed print jobs from the MEC in case there are any. If there are any I want a notification to be sent to the IT Department.
I've setup the notification to send an e-mail on update of the infoset to our ITSM system and I've ticked the option "Do not display empty tables" on page 4 "Related info", however this doesn't prevent the mail from being sent.

Any suggestions on how I prevent the mail from being sent in case the infoset is empty?
    Thanks in advance.

    Best regards,

The way I have that setup is under (4) Related Info, in the SN setup pick Do Not Display Empty Tables. Hope that works for you.

I'll probably have to create an Infor Xtreme ticket and see what they say, as that is also how I've configured it, but the mail is sent regardless.

are you bursting or just delivering to a selected device? If the latter, that maybe the problem as I dont think its going to check the data before sending.

Just delivering to a selected device. I tested a few times and you're right.
            If dataset is empty:
            - when bursting no mail is sent
            - when delivering directly to device an empty mail is sent.

Thanks a lot for clarifying the difference, I'll just use bursting when there might be an empty dataset.
