My organization intends to start using SN. I set up my test Infoset and tried to schedule it to no avail. I do receive the report delivered through my e-mail when I hit 'Process'. but the scheduleing part has failed to work for me.
The 'Add Job Schedule' page seems simple enough, and for the 'Select Job Function' I selected the 'Update/Process Infoset' to be processed 'Hourly' all week days. I named the Job Schedule name ans hit 'Save'. Nothing happens thereafter,.
    Has anyone encountered this issue?

Thanks in advance for your help

what version of SN are you on? Have you checked the websphere logs to see if there are any errors?
If any of my answers were helpful an endorsement on LinkedIn would be much appriciated! www.linkedin.com/pub/matthew-nye/1a/886/760/

I am sorry but I am not sure how I can find that out. Right-clicking on the 'Smart Notes Smart Notification' icon and the clicking 'Properties' does not yield any useful information.
Again, I am very new at this and I need all the help I can get.
        Thanks.

You can go to tools/ smart notes / admin / install validator and that should tell you the version. Depending on the version, there was a bug a couple of a verions ago with the scheduler needing to be more than a day back from where you started. So if my first run was today at 2:30, I would set it to yesterday at 2:00 and it would kick start the schedule. That should have been addressed but it may depend on the version you are running.

            Thanks, Mark.
            It says SN Version: (200910) 9-0-4-0-187 01.25.2010 17.17.29 CST

Seems to me that I had to do some sql commands to get the scheduler running when we were on that particular version. I had a call open with InforXtreme at the time.

I am leaning towards that ....opening a ticket with InforXtreme.
Thanks for looking at this ...
