We use the Infor Fax Integrator to fax/email our POs. Recently, we have started receiving complaints from different vendors that the faxes are not coming through fully and are cut off. We went live with Infor in August and this is the first time we have had any issues.

Has anyone else had issues like this? Any resolution?

    Thanks,

    Shannon

We have been live on Version 10 for over two years and haven't had any complaints with our faxes from Fax Integrator. Is it possible that they don't have their printers set correctly? If you view the fax does it look Ok?

The issue just started occurring and had been working fine before. We feel like it may be related to our cover page, but not 100% sure. When I review the sent faxes, they look fine, however the cover page is not attached to the ones sent. But what the vendor is sending back that they are receiving, it is cut off. This is for multiple different vendors and random occurrences.

We've seen this happen from time to time for years on all the versions we've been on. It seems to happen with only a few vendors. Everything looks fine on our end so I've never opened a case with support. The only things I can think of is maybe a compatibility issue with the receiver's fax machine or noise on the line interfering with the transmission. If it happens consistently we try to move the vendor to email. EDI would be better but they're usually a small vendor without that capability.

You have to open up one of the fax files that are stored out on the Fax Integrator server in Notepad, adjust the margins and save the file. After this save, the subsequent faxes will fax with larger margins.
I believe that there is a KB article on that too.... What do you know, I was able to find it quickly: KB 1201969

Our issue is the vendor says that they didn't get all the pages. That margin issue was a problem when we upgraded the Fax Integrator to v10 but we caught that pretty quickly.
