I have an item set up in Lawson with the correct pricing, however when the user submitted the order, it went to Owens & Minor with a different price.

When I drilled on the req, I saw the incorrect price that was submitted and there was also a field called Cost Locked:YES.

Is this a field value I can change to prevent this from happening again and on perhaps other items??

I'm unable to upload the screen shot.

Do you know where it might be pulling the price from? E.g. last cost, po25,etc.

I can't say that I've ever seen a field called Cost Locked. Where are you seeing this? PO20?

Hi Jon,

I begin with PO20, then click on the More button, then drill on the req.

I see the Cost Locked:YES message on the Requisition Line Detail screen from PO44. I don't know what/why the cost would be locked or what drives the cost to be/get locked.

I'm not sure either but I don't think it's the cause of your issue.

I may go ahead and ask our IT team to submit a Case to Lawson. If we have a price set in the PO25.6 agreement, but the order is going out with a different price and we have a message on the req of Cost Locked, I'm inclined to ask why.

We have so many oddities in our system, this is just one more.

Hi Bev, Is this req transaction still open? I feel like cost locked has something to do with where/how the transaction was processed within the MMDIST table. I'd be curious to hear what Infor says when you open a case! :-)

Looking in our system I found that the cost source doesn't determine whether the line is cost locked or not. The lines that were tied to contracts, some were cost locked and some were not. I thought maybe it had to do with how the requester's cost override flags were set in RQ04 but that doesn't seem to matter either.

I looked at this req in MMDIST and nothing jumps out at me.

I'll keep you posted on what the Lawson folks say about this one!!
