I ran my IC238 (Bin Stock on Hand) and found that we had 2 different UOM going for the same bin.

    (This item comes 20each/box)

         Bin Location  R90002 5 bx

                               R90002 12 ea   (this equals 112 each)

When I physically counted, we had 102 ea SOH = 5 box + 2 ea. (our count is off by 10 from IC238) Honestly, at this point I have no idea what SOH in IC44 was.  It looks like it was 102 ea.

I entered into IC26  : 5 bx to ea, but it said Insufficent stock on hand.

I changed it from 5 bx to 4 bx and it worked. (that still leaves me with 1 box and 92 each)

I tried adjusting our SOH by 10 each to equal the 112 each that total the bin numbers.  But I still get Insufficient SOH.

I even tried returning eaches from the dept they go to, but I get the same message.

I returned one BOX from the recipient dept back into my stock, it let me do the IC26 UOM change, but does not remove from my IC238 report.

I have checked IC11, IC12, PO13.  I'm at my wits end.  My only guess is that MAYBE I'm only allowed to do changes to a BIN once a day??????

Anybody have any experience with this or suggestions??

Turn off Bin Tracking on IC12 and then turn back on - it might reset.

I turned it off in IC12.  Checked my report in IC238.  It was gone.  I turned it back on.  Checked my report........and it is back on my report with BOX AND EACH.

It was worth a try.  Thanks

It's likely something is allocated by the box. Check Status and details and see if there's a pending req somewhere. You can also try WH20 and if it shows there, change the allocation to 0 and then go to WH25 and cancel the backorder. That should free it up for IC26 to allow the transfer.

I checked IC44 and there is nothing allocated or on order. I double checked PO45 to make sure it was not still on a req.  (It was not.)  I looked in WH20, nothing there.

I double checked IC81.  The only record it is on has it as each.

SOH in IC44 says 102.  (which is correct)

When I run IC238 it reads 1 box and 92 each.  (20/box so that totals 112, which is 10 more than we physically have)

Are you tracking both UOMs in IC11? (Tracked flag=X)

AHA!   NOW we are getting somewhere.  BOTH UOM are marked X in IC11 (UOM).  BUT, when I try to change it, I get CANNOT CHANGE UOM; UOM IS USED BY ITEM LOCATION.  UGH!

You're sure there's no IC12 record out there using BX on the Reorder tab? I've not run into this issue before. If you still can't adjust out any quantities you'll probably will need to open an incident with Infor because I bet you have some tables out of sync and might need to get out your paint programs.

We fixed it!  Here is what happened.

(We had taken the item out of the inventory it was stocked in.  Do not know if that makes a difference.)

We did a DRILL AROUND in IC12.  Under DETAILS is showed EA and BX.  Apparently there was half a box in this drill around.

Next to IC11 - MAIN TAB - FOR QTY.  (that is normally blank for us)  We changed it to 4.  (this allows for 4 numbers after the decimal on qty)

Now in IC26, we could transfer 0.5 box to each.

We changed the FOR QTY back to blank after the transfer.

Lastly, add the item back into the inventory it was taken out of.

As for the tracking as box and each, we adjusted our counts to zero, made the changes then re adjusted the counts back to what they were.

                    YAY!
