Image Now or Infor Cloudsuite internal method?

    Good Afternoon,

     

    I will apologize now if this is not the right section of the forum to ask this but I was wondering what system you are using to manage invoice,packing slips, other documents related to purchasing if you are on Infor's  cloud-suite?  

     

    We are currently on V10 and use Image Now but we had a demo of cloud-suite and we are considering if we want to start storing them in Lawson and get rid of image now when we upgrade.  I am just curious if anyone has ever looked at it and what they decided to do?

      We're not using anything other than AVAAP's Attach It for the asset tags on receipts but we've been told they aren't going to Cloudsuite as not to compete with Infor's document management. So I was viewing it as attachments - is it being shown as robust enough to compete with Image Now, etc?

        ImageNow is still a viable solution for CloudSuite Finance/Supply Chain (FSM). A lot of people don't take into account the cloud storage costs associated with moving their images into Infor's systems. If you're hosted, you have to pay EXTRA for that. If you can get ImageNow to integrate (and you should be able to), you more than likely already have the storage issue and costs built in with what you're already doing.

          Kat,

           

          Infor is telling us yes but I have worked with sales reps too long to believe anything they say at face value.  One of the reasons I am reaching out to this group to see what they have run into in the past.
