Greetings,

How do I look up to see if a Lawson # exists when given the manufacturer number without running a full item master report?

Thank you

Go in RQC and under Find/Shop, Search Catalog and enter in the manufacturer number, if you have this in the item description it should pull up and then show the Lawson #.

You can also look these up in the IC11 record -

Click the drop-down menu in the item field

Under view options, click "Active Items by Manufacturer Number"

Next, click Search

Type the MFG # in the Value field. I always use (*) at the end to grab all variations of that number.

If that MFG # is in your system, it will show up.

Infor needs to add a way to look up inactive items by manufacturer as well.

The IC11 method was what I was looking for.

Thanks everybody for your inputs.
