PO line delivery dates

    Does anyone use the PO line delivery date as a means to evaluate vendors? We have our inventory items control code set as "S" (system generated) in IC12. So the system generates the lead time based on the last two PO receipts. But does not take into account weekends / holidays.

    Does anyone do anything different?

      Have tried using the system lead time but those are skewed whenever there is an exception to the normal delivery time. For evaluation purposes, we establish delivery times in PO10 and work hard to manage changes in expected delivery time through confirmations. We have written programming that notifies the requester of any change in delivery date on the PO line.

        If the dates are maintained in PO20 (changed to Monday or the acknowledgement for b/o)- PO94 tells you if they meet them or not.

            Hi, so you set up a lead time per vendor in PO10? So all items ordered for that vendor will have the same lead time, and then you update PO lines based on confirmations? Have you thought about using IC12 but with M for manual on the items? This may get it closer to individual item ?
