Does anyone have a Crystal report or directions on how to run an access query to obtain open PO information by vendor?

      Hi Bev,

It depends on what infomation you are pulling form the PO.  Easy explanation is to link the PUCHORDER table to the POLINE table and you should be able to use the select expert to pull in the date range and vendors needed.

        Bev,

Here's an add-ins query that I built for the same purpose. I just plug in the vendor number and it looks for POs that have not yet been closed for invoicing.

I'm working on revamping our pfrom process to something more streamlined and discovered the hard way that if you inactivate a purchase from that is on a PO that is received but not yet invoiced you can cause all sorts of fun and exciting problems for AP.

Hence . . .the query.  We'd originally had a crystal report that showed POs that were open to receiving . . .this takes it a step further.

The first attachment is the .dme file for addins - save it and open it within add-ins to use it.
The second attachment is a report that I ran for out vendor number 1603 with some screen shots.

            Thank you everyone!
Jon - I tried using your Crystal report and was able to open it, but I was prompted for an ODBC selection. After making the selection, I received message on every table saying each one could not be found, even though we have all of those Lawson tables.

            ???

Not sure what the problem would be. When I get reports from others with ODBC all I have to do is change the DB source to my ODBC and they work.

That's what I thought too. I'll reach out to our IT guy and see if he may know what the issue is.

Thanks again so much for the report! I think if I can get it to work, it will be exactly what we need. !!

Here's a short doc on how to change your datasource on a report you received from outside your organization.
