I could have sworn we had done this in the past with no issues. Item Loc R and Item Loc SCM both have Item A in stock. R is out and needs to pull from SCM instead of the normal vendor. There is a template with From Location SCM. R puts in a Req for that item from that template. SCM gets a WH130 Pick Ticket and Finish/Releases it. SCM stock on hand decrements normally but R's stock on hand never increases.
What are we doing wrong?
I have an open Infor Incident that is going in circles. They keep telling me I can't set up a req loc for R to be from SCM but when I ask if that means they can't use reqs, only IC22, I'm told: Yes, you may use requisitions, quantity would be taken out of the "from" location and placed into the "requesting" location. You could use IC22 also.
Which is what I did and it didn't work.
Hi Kat,
I think the only way to transfer goods between storerooms is IC22 (using direct issue), IC22/IC23 (using indirect issue) and IC141 (if you setup the replenishment source as the other company/storeroom). I don't think you can use RQ10 or RQC for this.
Question along these lines. We have a warehouse (RICH) that is in a different GL company. I need to set up some of the items to pull from our main warehouse (STR) since they are so low use. I set up IC141RICH as a requester, I set up the items as sourcing from 20-STR.
The cross company bit I think is causing errors. It is trying to put the RICH inventory account under company 20 and (surprise!) not finding it. (20-STR is 10000/160111 but 39-RICH is 10000/161110.
Am I missing something simple? This process works just fine when it is between warehouses that are in the same company but we've recently grown and now have inventory in different GL companies.
Thanks in advance for anything you can tell me!
Hello,
I work in our central DC, periodically our facilities receive an error message when trying to release their IC141 (picture attached). Does anyone else have this problem or know of a work-around?
Any other ideas that could cause an IC141 not to release?
Can you elaborate on thisplease, I don't have acces to the log file.
