Anyone know how programatically to get a list of all objects on the form? Trying look at something to loop through all of the objects for a specific purpose....

You can certainly do it with javascript, but I guess I would ask, "why?" There are plenty of HTML/Javascript/DOM explorers that can plug into the browser that will give you that.

We have several forms being developed in DS (appropriately) but delivering them through MSS bookmark to managers. We would like the "look and feel" to be as close to the MSS stylesheets as much as possible. We do not want to deliver this as a custom html like EMSS forms since they are fairly easy extension of standard lawson forms. However, since MSS forms are delivered as dynamically created html - and we can't really control it at that level is DS - the thought was we can control a good deal of the style attributes of the form and objects - but we need the object ID in order to do that.
And since we want to use a generic approach (and single source code approach) that we could come up with a generic javascript that loops through the objects and set the styling appropriate.
I am open to other alternative - we have not been successful and trying to apply a CSS dynamically in DS....

One idea would be to display the customized page inside an iframe, and use javascript to set the CSS link
var cssLink = document.createElement("link")
cssLink.href = "style.css";
cssLink .rel = "stylesheet";
cssLink .type = "text/css";
frames['frame1'].document.body.appendChild(cssLink);

That might make sense - but not sure how you take a standard form and push it inside of an iframe within DS? For example, if we take CU01 as a standard form - doesn't lawson portal handle the pushing of the XML inside the main content frame already? How would we push this to a frame?

Perhaps I misunderstood. Didn't you say you are trying to host a DS customization of a standard form from within an ESS/MSS page?

Not inside the page - the forms are stand alone - but they are being delivered to managers to do some transactions that are not part of the standard EMSS. So therefore we are trying to make them look similar (not identical) to the standard forms...That is why the thought was to handle the styling on the objects of the DS form...
