Is there documentation about 'URI' protocols available for LSO In various links in LSO I have found sforms://, sjobs://, admin:// . Are there other types and where might I find documentation about those listed above and any others that exist I am trying to create a 'shortcuts' list in LSO for S3 (10.0.4.1) that simulates Employee Self Service in Portal. Hi All, I am new to Lawson product. We are trying to install Lawson Collaborator for that we need Lawson Grid. I have installed: 1. LCM Server. 2. LCM services. 3. LCM Client. Now I am trying to install Lawson Grid but its taking ample of time to upload Grid jar file. Do any one know the reason of this delay. Regards Salman

Hi to all, I'll have to install LSO in infrastructure IBM i 6.1.0 and M3 7.1, but I have experience only with Windows Server Installation of M3 10.1. My doubts relate to the fact that the documentation says that for LSO, everything must be in Windows, but my situation is: M3 on IBM i, WAS on IBM i, LCM in Windows server. Lawson Smart Office verson: 9.1.3.1.7 When in HR11, I am unable to copy the data in the Company or Employee field using the shortcut key (CTRLC). The copy function only works when I right click on the Company or Employee field then select copy. The paste function using CTRLV works fine. Could this be a version issue or limitation Thank you.

Export to Excel and Microsoft from LSO works on my pc for me, but not on a user's pc (even for me). I've set up so I can export to Excel or Microsoft from Lawson Smart Office, but it doesn't work on all PCs, not even if I log in as me. But! On the user's PC I was logged onto the PC as the user, and logged into LSO as myself.  I don't know if that would make a difference. If I log in as the user on my PC the export to Excel works, but not the other way around.  HELP!

We just implemented Smart Office 10.1.1.0 and all of our users were given basic training and started with a blank canvas.  I wondered if there are pre built canvas templates available to give us a jump start at customizing and designing for areas such as Procurment, Finance, or Human Resources  I work in Procurement, so I would be interested in what other users have designed around the purchasing function.  Thanks!

We are in the process of implementing Smart Office.  We have successfully installed Lifecycle Manager.  When attempting to install the Grid there is nothing in the drop down for the initial host and I am unable to find any documentation or reference to it. Hi, Has anyone else had issues with LSO requiring high graphics cards and CPU to open M3 panels quickly Doing a lot of testing on different machines I found a decent workstation with good GPU can render a panel or close a panel in under a second but if I try the exact same test on a entry level PC or Citrix environment the panel can take up to 3 seconds to display and close. I've tested from the same LAN as the M3 servers to rule out any network related issues.

The host name was set up with short name - not FQDN. So when the installation point gets signed its signed with the short name which then causes the client install to fail with the SSL error. I can 'back door' this by changing the host name in the MachineConfig.xml on the appdata folder on the client - and then it works fine and the install works and can connect the client - but would rather fix this on the server side and resign the installation point. I've changed the actual host name - but...

I'm getting an expired certificate warning when I go into Life Cyle Manager but otherwise everything is working normally. The certificate is visible under the SSL Connections tab in the LCM Admin View and has a description 'WebSphere Application Server server1 on profile AppSrv01'. I setup 2 users for SmartOffice Adminstration tools. They are missing Mashup Designer in test, but we have it in PROD. We have a Lawson consultant installed SO so have no idea if something is missing.
