Has anyone run LBI Dasboards from SmartOffice

This is my first project and I am going to attempt to install Smart office on a Server. I've downloaded the install guide from Lawson's website but it seems I need to install Websphere on the server before I install anything else. Is this true Does anyone have any suggestions before I begin installing Please give me any advise you have or knowledge. Anything and everything can help. Thanks!

Trying to install a new installation point on LS0 9.1.3. LifeCycle Manager, Grid, Webservices installed and running. LSO  Server is running too. I exported the server info to create the .jadeinstall file I have a paid-for certificate that has been inserted into the proper key stores on the server and stored within IIS. Hello everyone,  We are in the process of installing the LSO and got stock on the installation of LCM service, prerequisite for LSO. We have Lawson ADAM bound to the corporative AD and I think we should go to ADAM for the LCM configuration. The problem is that we do not have the “member” attribute in Groups in the ADAM. I was able to connect to AD with LCM service with no problem. I have no attributes in the group with list all of the users for that group , as I do in the AD.  I am getting the ...

Can someone share attribute values from lcm.properties file.  We are having trouble and think the problem is with the ldap.user.filter and ldap.group.filter values.  When we run ldaptest from the command prompt LDAP test shows OK.  Our LDAP is tivoli on AIX and LifeCycle Manager is on windows 2008 server.  Thanks.

We've recently encountered an issue with using LSO on client machines using Windows Roaming Profiles.  LSO is deployed as a Microsoft ClickOnce application which both Microsoft and now Lawson support states does not work with Windows Roaming Profiles (Lawson is to update their client requirements documentation for LSO because of this ticket).  ClickOnce does put LSO data and binaries in an area which is not picked up by Windows Roaming Profiles.  This is true for both LSO 9 and 10.  The workarou...

I'm looking to install Smart Office in our test envrionment and I'm running into a snag with LifeCycle Manager.  I installed it on a 2003 server and the LDAP tests are successful, but I'm not sure how to set up the LCM administrators group.  I thought that during the install when I specified the name 'LCMAdmins' that it would have created it in ADAM.  I looked using JXPLORER and it's not there.  I'm not very familiar with ADAM.  I was just going to create a group using JXPLORER but there's a req...

In the M3 screen for CRS620 you can enter and the system will automatically generate a new supplier number (SUNO) In using the AddSupplier API call (CRS620MI) while the data goes in fine.....passing does NOT generate a supplier number, and simply stores the as the SUNO. How do you modify the API to generate the supplier number (or whatever number depending on files you are working with)

Has anyone come across a way to capture an end user's username in LSO at time of login  In portal we use the following to capture username : portalwnd.oUserProfile.getAttribute('lawsonusername').  Is there something similar within LSO

Hi, I have Lifecycle Manager, LCM service, LCM client installed on a Windows server and have installed Grid for Lawson into LCM. The service for the Grid is unable to start.  I have re-installed everything to start from scratch and I still get the same error. Has anyone experienced this before, or have any ideas on why the Grid is not starting LCM - 9.1.10 Grid - 10.1.8.1 Windows - 2008 R2 Thanks for any help given. Rod

I'm getting the following error when I try to do the install of Session Provider. Has anyone tried setting up group policies in Active Directory to allow different settings for different groups of users  For example, I'd like my IT group to be able to send broadcasts messages through the communicator widget, but not all the other users.  I don't have access to the AD we're bound to and want to know what I need to tell the folks that maintain that.

We have installed all of our users with the same Smart Office profile and everyone is running Office 2010. When some of us export to excel, we actually go to an xlsx document - others open up a csv document. All of our settings are the same. We were on an Ask the Expert call with Lawson a couple of weeks ago but he had no idea and someone on the call said they had the problem but thought it was an Office version issue. I'm looking to size a server for LSO (s3) Checking out their Lawson Smart Office Installation Guide, Lawson only mentions: Windows 2008 Server R2 x64 Standard, Enterprise, or Data Center Edition and IIS, IBM HTTP Server for Window   I'm looking for a ballpark estimate regarding CPU/RAM/etc., especially if anyone here has a LSO server up and running, and can tell me what their experience is. Anyone know how, or if it is even possible, to create a new LSO form  For clarity, I'm not talking about personalizing an existing form.  What I am wondering is if it is possible to create a new form from scratch with the fields, tabs, and buttons that I want all defined from scratch.  I want to do this to trigger a process flow.  If possible, what tool does Lawson offer to do this

Our distribution groups are working fine in Portal.  Reports are run and get distributed to users and are available to view in their print managers. However, these reports do not show up in their print manager in Smart Office.  As a superuser/admin in Smart Office, I can go into Print Manager and filter by Report Owner for User A, and see the report sent by User B.  However, User A cannot see that report in their own Print Manager in Smart Office.. Any thoughts
