We've recently went live with Infor10.. and our Addins performance has doubled.
Issue: Upgrade from 9.0.1.x to Infor 10.0.8 and at the same time
Switched platforms from Unix to Windows (database and apps)
Applied the newest version of MOA available per Infor support... and it is still taking twice as long to load a large payroll file.
Any suggestions on where I should start troubleshooting this?
We are experiencing Add-Ins performance hits on our existing v9, but seems to be related to Lawson Security. Assume you have Add-Ins clustered in WAS, etc?
Posted By NatalieD on 07/28/2017 10:05 AM We are experiencing similar issues with performance after upgrade. How many records do you usually have for upload? Infor told us add-ins is only equipped for 500 records or less. Prior to upgrade to v10, we would process thousands of records a day without issue. Now our workload efficiency has been greatly impacted.
This is total BS from Infor Support
Tell them to escalate your incident to a different technician who knows what they are talking about (but say it nicely).
Posted By Kat V on 07/28/2017 2:59 PM We were given a different port to use for the server when using Add-Ins. Not sure if this is why. Instead of connecting on 8080 we were told to use 8081.
What they've done is create a second web server and WebSphere app server to handle Addins traffic, which is often a quick solution, but often unnecessary depending on circumstances (e.g. server load, number of users, number of uploads, etc.)
