CU60.1 - Currency Rate Interface Maintenance Use CU60.1 (Currency Rate Interface Maintenance) to display and maintain currency rate information you are converting from a non-Lawson environment (a spreadsheet for example) to the Lawson Currency system. This form is used to verify your information transferred to the Lawson system correctly. To transfer the non-Lawson file to the target machine, use a transfer utility program (such as the winptxfr or ftp command). When you transfer the non-Lawson file, you rename the file for use in the Lawson system. For example, if you are transferring from Excel, use winptxfr -u filename c:\\Data\\Excel\\excelfilename.csv where filename represents the Lawson file. To view the information in this form, use an Import command, such as (importdb productline CUCONVREL filename), to load the non-Lawson file into the Currency Rate Interface (CUCONVREL) file, where the filename is the name you assigned when you transferred the file to the Lawson system. After you run the Import command, use the Next or Previous form actions to display your data. Before you use this program, you must define a currency table in CU00.1 (Currency Table) and relationships between each currency code in CU02.1 (Currency Relationships). Run CU160 (Currency Rate Interface) to load the currency information. Use CU10.1 (Exchange Rates) to display and maintain the exchange rates in the Lawson Currency system. Run CU260 (Currency Rate Interface Listing) to list currency records before running CU160. Updated Files CKPOINT - Used for restart capability. CUCONVREL - Used to store currency exchange information you are converting from a non-Lawson system. Referenced Files CUCODES - Used to validate base currency code information. CURELAT - Used to validate the existence of currency exchange and/or translation. CUTABLE - Used to validate the existence of a currency table. |
