CX02.1 - Procedures Use this form to define and inquire on valid procedures to be used for cases. A procedure is uniquely identified by a procedure type and procedure code. In addition, you can use this form to add, inquire on or print attachments (comments) assigned to procedure codes. Attachments to procedure codes are meant to store the full, variable-length description for the procedure code. You can view the expanded procedure descriptions imported as attachments during the import process. You can add procedures to the Procedure file using this form or by running the batch import program CX502 (Procedure Code Import). You must add procedures in the Procedure file before you can assign them to a preference template, case preference list, or a pick list. Before you add procedures, identify the procedure type codes you want to assign to your procedure code sets. For more information on procedure type codes, select field help for the Type field or consult your management, who can help you identify values for procedure type codes.
