IC09.1 - Hazard Codes

Use this form to optionally set up hazard codes. You assign hazard codes to
potentially dangerous inventory items in IC11.1 (Item Master) or IC10.2 (Item
Master and Location). If you assign hazard codes to items, their descriptions
print on selected inventory reports and the receiving document generated in
the Purchase Order system. To discontinue use of a hazard code, change the
status to Inactive. A hazard code cannot be deleted once it as been assigned
to an item.

Updated Files

    CKPOINT    - This file is used in the event of a program or system failure
                 to enable a batch update program to continue from where it left
                 off.


    HAZARD     - Primary file maintained by program.


Referenced Files

    ITEMGROUP  - Used to validate the existence of an item group.
