IC182 - Par Location Utilization

Run this program to print a recommended par report. IC182 updates the
suggested par level in the Item Location file. IC182 also lists the par level,
the average daily utilization, and the par level value for each item at a par
location. The report totals the amounts for each par location.

You can print the report by report group or par location. Replenish days are
the number of days that elapse between replenishments. Date range is the usage
history to be included when calculating suggested quantity. Minimum samples
are the number of samples (transactions) necessary to trigger the
replenishment. Thirty samples is recommended.

Updated Files

    CKPOINT    - This file is used in the event of a program or system failure
                 to enable a batch update program to continue from where it left
                 off.


    ITEMLOC    - The Item Location file contains the dynamic information for an
                 inventoried item at a stock location.



Referenced Files

    ICCOMPANY  - Used to validate the company number.

    ICLOCATION - Used to validate the inventory location.

    ICRPTGRP   - The Report Group file stores the valid report groups used to
                 define groups of locations for reporting purposes.


    ITEMMAST   - The Item Master file stores static information about each item
                 such as description, classes, units of measure, and weight.


    RQLOC      - This file contains the valid requesting locations for the
                 company.


    RQTRANS    - This file is the history of all deliveries for all
                 requisitions.
