IC30.1 - Item Search

Use this form to search for item numbers defined in IC11.1 (Item Master) or
IC10.2 (Item Master and Location). You can perform an item search to display
all items existing within a company, or you can limit the search to one access
code and a corresponding field value.

           D = Description         P = Purchasing Class
           G = Generic Name        S = Sales Class
           I = Inventory Class     U = User Defined Field Name #1

If an access code is specified, you can enter a complete or partial field
value by which to sort the inventory database. This form displays item numbers
alphanumerically beginning with the first item found that most closely matches
the selection criteria. Page down through item numbers in the sequence
selected. You can use the Position To field to display a specific item number
within the selection criteria.

Note: This form displays item numbers and descriptions. To display a specific
item record in a selected form, select the line action X and the Transfer form
action to display the item in a selected form.

Referenced Files

    ICCOMPANY  - Used to validate the company and determine the item group for
                 that company.


    ITEMGROUP  - Used to obtain the item group associated with the entered
                 company number.


    ITEMMAST   - Used to display the item description(s).

    MAJORCL    - Used to validate the major class.

    MINORCL    - Used to validate the major and minor class.
