IC38.1 - Bin Reorder Policy

This form is designed to replenish picking bins from larger storage bins. Use
this form to update bin reorder policy information at a location. Reorder
information defines the reorder method (Order Policy), when to reorder
(Reorder Point), order calculation (Reorder Quantity Code), and the order
quantity (Reorder Quantity).

The reorder information maintained on this form is used by IC138 (Bin
Replenishment Report) to list item bins that need replenishing. This report
calculates bin replenishment quantities and optionally creates unreleased bin
transfer document(s).

You can review, adjust (if necessary), and release bin transfer documents
created in IC138 (Bin Replenishment Report) in IC90.1 (Bin Replenishment
Entry). When you release transfer documents, items are transferred from the
larger storage bin (Replenish From Bin) to the item's picking bin (Bin).

Updated Files

    CKPOINT    - This file is used in the event of a program or system failure
                 to enable a batch update program to continue from where it left
                 off.


    ITEMLOCBIN - Primary file created and maintained by the program.

    ICLOCATION - Used to validate an inventory location.

    ITEMLOC    - Used to extract item location quantities, validate, and so on.
