WO10.1 - Forecast Demand

Use this form to manually type forecast demand for finished goods to be
produced by the Work Order system.

When you type a forecast demand, it is created in Unreleased status. You can
change the quantity of a finished-good item for a specific date needed while
it is in Unreleased status.  If you have released the demand and want to
change the quantity, unrelease the line, change the quantity and release it
again.

Released forecast demand records are selected when you schedule production for
the finished good.  While the forecast demand is being used in production
scheduling, the status on this form will show as In Scheduling.

If the forecast demand is selected in production scheduling to be included on
a work order, the forecast demand record is deleted.  If the forecast demand
is not selected in production scheduling, when scheduling is finished for the
item, the status of the forecast demand will change back to Released.

For forecast demand loaded through the forecast demand interface program, you
can use this form to release the forecast demand records to production
scheduling.

    WODMNDFCST - This file is used to allow for a source of non-document demand
                 to be used as input into the production scheduling process for
                 work orders.

    ICCATEGORY - Used to validate the Inventory Control general ledger
                 categories.
