                     Case Cart Practitioner Assist

The Case Cart Practitioner Assist file contains practitioner assistant
records. The Case Carts system uses this file to retrieve assistant
information when you assign a practitioner to a template or case. The Case
Carts system stores assistant data by the practitioner ID of the practitioner
with whom the assistant works.

You can build this file by a manual procedure using CX04.1 (Practitioner) or
by an automatic process using CX507 (HL7 Pract and Staff Import). The
automatic process builds assistant records in this file as well as builds
practitioner records in the Case Cart Practitioners file at the same time.
Records added through the automatic process are populated from an HL7 input
file, referred to below. Use CX04.1 to delete assistant records (whenever you
delete a practitioner, all of the associated assistants are deleted at the
same time).
